This is just to let you know....
I visited the Troy-set in Fort Ricasoli this Wednesday with a couple of
friends and her mother. The set was HUGE!!!! And beautiful. The
Wooden-horse is finished and is beautiful. The whole city is amazing. I
unfortunately couldn't take any pictures, because the Art Directions
said "Strictly no photos are to be taken."
I've seen the weapons and some of the costumes. No costumes of the main
characters, just Battle-uniforms and helmets. They showed us the Art
Department. The main art-department-room was covered with plans and
pictures of details to be shown in the film. They also showed us the two
models of the set in Mexico and the Ricasoli-model.
We saw the two boats in front of Ricasolli, but they weren't filming
They also said they're burning the whole set, when finished filming (in
Malta), as one of the last scenes in the film, when the Spartans burn
Troy, after the come out of the horse. Wax figures are being used as the
Spartans (coming out of the horse), because it would be too dangerous,
said one of the guides (worker in the Art Department).
I wish I had pictures so send but I don't. It's actually impossible to
